I am on cloud nine! Today when Holli was in the chair and I put her speaking valve on her trach , in a very soft, quiet voice Holli said "I love you, Mom" " I love you!" She has not said any more at this time, but this is a start. I thank you Lord for answering so many prayers. I know this is just the beginning.....

this is truly wonderful news! I don't know Hollis that well, but we went on a hiking trip on Chicken John's bus a couple of years ago, and I remember how vibrant and lively she was. I've been checking in on the blogs since her accident, and have been sending you both good thoughts. Blessings to you both!

Diane, I was inspired to go to a site I'm not directly connected to last night and discovered she, Cat, had just posted the news. I reposted it, and today it had grown exponentially. Such joy in the morning. We are SO with you, so gloriously happy and yet...patient for the tempo of her awakening. You're the best! (I'm Eliza's mom, btw) Raini said he really appreciated meeting you in SF a a coupla weeks ago.
