Miracles continue for Holli!!! Wonderful news!

Mom called early this morning to tell me that Holli is breathing on her own!!!!!!! She is still connected to the ventilator, BUT it is not delivering breaths...... only oxygen and probably a little bit of support to facilitate her respiratory effort. This is very standard when weaning someone from the ventilator. I'm just speculating and pulling from what usually happens here when going through this weaning process, but I would guess that they may turn it back on during the night to let her rest and then start the process again in the morning for her. Diane said she is taking 20 breaths a minute and doing well!!!!!! Praise God! This is just amazing!!! Keep those prayers going up for Holli.

Always in prayer

Jill

I go to a Catholic University in the SF Bay Area and ran into one of the sisters on campus yesterday while taking my final. I told her about Holli and she told me that the sisters would pray for her. It seems all the prayers and good wishes are working!

The people have been absolutely wonderful! Here is an email I recently received:

I just wanted to drop you a quick note that we are praying for Holli. We gave some financial support and I hope to encourage others to keep doing so. Just remember that the smallest pond is made up of millions of rain drops. One is not enough, but together it makes the difference. I am praying for it to rain blessings and support on you and your family.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated last night in the remote healing circle for Hollis.

Many people who have never met Hollis joined us, which is particularly moving.

Please join us again tonight for our remote healing session #3 from 8:30p-9:30p PST.

It would be great if you could RSVP on Facebook so we have an idea of how many people will be working with us. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=55382573076

I'd like to point out that you can do this meditation from wherever you are in the world - from the comfort of your own home.

Instructions from our facilitator, Alice Hess, who is working from her home in Minnesota, are detailed in the wall posts for the event.

Please join us tonight in picturing our beautiful hollis, eyes wide open, full of breath, life, joy, and laughter!

Somebody saw on the news the other night that this site is helping people who are overwhelmed with money problems for emergencies. Worth a shot i guess...

as far as the money goes, my friend from India says that the Indian government has a responsibility to pay for Holli's transport. Or at least help. He very much wants to speak to someone in Hollis' family on the ground in India He has called his friend who is a lead Dr. at Apollo and has asked him to go and speak to Hollis family but he is really looking for a phone # in hopes that he can help make some concrete plans about her transport can happen today.

I went to WKU with Holli and we're planning a benefit in Bowling Green, sometime this month. Would like to contact Holli's family or friends in Nashville to see if they'd like to come represent Holli. My email is rachaeldobring@gmail.com

Have you thought of asking your congressman to put a request in with the Air Force for an emergency evac? I used to fly med-evac in the Air Force (still do some) and we did things like this on a case by case basis. Having your senator or congressman putting the question forth might help. Can't hurt to try!

We have called and are asking everyone else to call also.... the more calls the better. My contact at the State Department told me yesterday that Congress has had a LOT of interest in this case... so please if you haven't call, call, call!

My neighbor, Dave (in Foley Alabama) told me about Holli the other day. We've been praying for her and for everyone involved. My husband, who is a (private) pilot, said that he has heard about a non-profit charitable organization of pilots that arrange free air transportation for any legitimate, charitable, medically related need. The service is available to individuals, as well as health care organizations. They also arrange transportation of those people who are financially distressed, or who are in a time-critical situation due to their medical condition. The name of the organization is: "Angle Flight" and the web address is: www.angleflight.com

Hope this is helpful. We will continue to pray.

Stay Strong!
